Do I have to commit to a contract?
Absolutely not, Safeprep do not ask that you sign a contract, we are so confident that you will be happy with our services that all we ask is that you pay us on time and if you are not happy in any way then don’t pay us at all.

I am part of the senior management team of a large food manufacturing company and I believe that we have food safety pretty well covered, so how do I know whether the business can benefit from the services of Safeprep?

I am responsible for all the catering for my school and have a staff of cooks and dinner ladies, do my dinner ladies need to be qualified to handle food?
Yes they do! In short the regulations state that people who handle food should have a recognised qualification suitable for the tasks that they carry out, typically this would be a Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety or equivalent. We at Safeprep will be happy to train your staff for you.

Do you offer a training service and if so what does it cover?
We offer a wide range of training on all things ‘food safety’ including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and COSHH (Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health). Safeprep also offer a wide range of other training in general Health & Safety through our associate companies.

What does the term ‘Competent Person’ mean?
Food businesses are required to show that they have someone who has the hygiene knowledge to keep the public safe when consuming their food. Safeprep can act as your ‘competent person’ for you or better still train you so that you can confidently be that person yourself.

I run a food factory and have just discovered that all my staff need a certificate in food safety, where do I start?
You start with us of course! We offer all the training that your staff need but the beauty of our training service is that we will arrange to come to your premises and train your staff when it is convenient for your business according to demands such as shift patterns etc.
